Yoga for Eating Disorders Group
This group is designed for people who identify as having an eating disorder and are medically cleared to participate in an outpatient group. The group consists of gentle yoga poses, combined with meditation, mindfulness, and journal writing, followed by the processing of thoughts and feelings. The focus of the group is appreciating our bodies for all they do for us, as well as developing self-compassion and self-awareness. Participants are asked to commit to the 8-week cycle, as this is not a drop-in group.

If you are interested in joining this group, contact Beck Psychotherapy to set up a group evaluation, where you will meet with one of the group leaders so that we can learn more about you and your goals for treatment, and answer any questions you may have concerning the group.

Group Meets Monday's 5:00-6:30pm.
Group Leader: Tessa Bills, LSW
Are you a Veteran with PTSD?
We have created a new weekly group for Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Veterans will learn about PTSD and how PTSD affects them and their families. Through emotion regulation and cognitive restructuring, veterans will learn to develop new coping skills related to their PTSD symptoms. Trauma themes such as beliefs around safety, trust, self-esteem, power and control, and intimacy will also be explored.

The group will meet for 90 minutes each week for a total of 10 weeks. This group will be limited to six participants.

If interested or if you have any questions, please contact Kate Hardy, LSW
